Um, thanks. I didn’t actually do any marketing per se. It’s all about how you structure your key phrases. If you check what popular searches are before you post, it allows you to include not just more strings but strings you already know are being searched.
I got some mixed feelings after reading the post. But it’s good to be provocative, right?.
Actually, provocative is fantastic. My goal was really to elicit a reaction to my opinions be it agreement, disagreement or something in between so I could encourage dialog.

Hi, I do get some spam, but mostly WordPress filters it out for me, so I find it’s not too bad. I don’t do anything special. I do find that when I’m writing about a topic that’s particularly hot at the time, I get more spam comments than when I’m writing about something more obscure.

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement. Do you know any techniques to help stop content from being ripped off? I’d definitely appreciate it.
I haven’t run into any problems myself but then I’m not watching out for it anyway because I’m just providing opinions. I don’t know how to keep people from ripping it off, but I do know that if anyone tries to take credit for it in any sort of school setting, it’ll probably get caught as tools like copyscape are widely used. The only thing I can suggest is that when you see it pop up somewhere you notify the administrator of the website that they must either remove the post as it’s infringing on your copyright or else properly credit you as the source.
